In order to meet the needs of women who have been victimized and exploited, Redeemed Ministries has the following guidelines in place to provide quality services to survivors. Please review the following intake considerations, the scope of care and the application process so placement can be handled in a timely manner.

The application process can take 1- 3 weeks (those local to Houston may stay at an emergency shelter for processing

An individual qualifies if:
Law enforcement or anti-trafficking agency referrals
18+ years of age
A survivor of sex trafficking
A U.S. Citizen
Biologically female
Free from an imminent threat from others
Free of drugs and/or alcohol withdrawals or detox for 30-days
Not a threat to herself or others
Ready to change and heal from trauma
Falls within our scope of care
* While services are currently offered in English only, we will assess our ability to serve individuals with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) during the interview process. If effective communication is not possible, we will provide bilingual resources to help applicants connect with alternate healing opportunities.
An individual does NOT qualify if:
Pregnant
Actively addicted and unwilling to go through substance abuse/addiction rehabilitation
On medication-assisted treatment such as methadone or Suboxone or taking prescription narcotics
Non-ambulatory or unable to manage self-care
Has physical custody of her children (unless arrangements for long-term care have been secured for her children)
Diagnosed with a debilitating medical or
mental health condition
Diagnosed with Hepatitis, HIV/AIDS, or Tuberculosis
Escaping warrants or has court obligations requiring out of state travel during the first three-months
Actively suicidal/homicidal and/or in a mental health crisis
